One of my favorite things to do in cities is sample local coffee shops in cities I visit. Really excellent coffee…and their iced coffee/chicory specialty is delicious even though I am morally opposed to iced coffee.

Whether you’re an “out-of-towner” or a “for-lifer”, Meraki Coffee Co is one of those hidden treasures to seek out. Everything from the Witt’s Maple to the NOLA Cold Brew is hands down amazing. What makes great coffee better is a local business owner who makes everyone that walks up to the window feel like they are his only customer. Ryan is a weekly visit in my schedule, would recommend anyone to stop in whether it’s just once in passing or on a regular basis.

I unknowingly went after close but he was still in there and when I told him I was moving away and this would be my only chance to visit, he made me his NOLA cold brew and it was so delicious. I am not a huge fan of cold brew drinks but this was definitely one I would want to get again. His kindness in making me a drink after he was closed up was much appreciated. It was clear that he cares a lot about his craft! I'd recommend to anyone!!

Ryan is a wonderful guy who makes excellent coffee. Every time I'm in Kzoo I stop by Meraki and get one of the best coffees I've ever had.

Had the cold brew last week, was amazed by the flavor. One of the best coffees I’ve ever had. Just a few minutes walk from where I live in downtown, but they close too early. I feel it would be great, if they would be open till 4 or 5pm as it would be nice to have a coffee after work and walk in downtown.
